The importance of safety in construction cannot be overstated. In our industry, physical safety has not always translated into mental well-being, which contributes to the high suicide rate. This year, we participated in Construction Suicide Prevention Week to raise awareness about the tragic consequences of suicide in such a close-knit industry. At Pyramid Contracting, we placed a special focus on stamping out the stigma surrounding mental illness and providing our employees with the resources to help save lives.
