The AIA Honor Award was given to this featured project in 2014. The City of Columbia Parks & Recreation Center was constructed by the firm in 2011. A two-building structure connected by a cleverly constructed breezeway makes up this 10,000 square foot new construction project. The firm used environmentally friendly construction methods such as recycled materials and an energy-efficient mechanical system.
