Safety
We take pride in the continuous development of Pyramid’s safety programs which are approved by both the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of Energy (DOE). Our training and safety standards exceed the requirements of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ safety manual, EM 385-1-1. All Pyramid superintendents, project managers, and on-site personnel are trained and certified in OSHA 30-Hour, CPR/First Aid, fall protection, and confined space training. The company has documented over five hundred thousand work hours on our job sites without a loss work time incident. We recognize the value and importance of workplace safety.
Schedule
At Pyramid, your goals are our priority. We recognize that the best way to deliver value to our clients is through our fundamental commitment to maintain the integrity of your project schedule. Prior to mobilization, our pre-construction and project management teams review your schedule to identify potential issues and prepare the procurement of materials accordingly. Daily, weekly, and monthly updates are communicated to all Pyramid team members via our ContractorForeman project management software. This allows us to keep the client constantly informed and expectations closely managed in the face of weather delay or other unforeseen developments.
Diversity
Pyramid Contracting has always believed in the strength our diverse workforce provides. In 2015, Pyramid Contracting joined the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Construction Program as a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Small Business Enterprise (SBE), and Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE).
Quality
To satisfy our clients’ demands for superior quality, Pyramid implements proactive programs in order to avoid a reactionary approach. Through effective quality control measures (such as daily field reports and quality control review meetings), we engage in diligent oversight to achieve reduction in rework, manage potential risk, and enhance production.
Cost
Pyramid Contracting’s position as an unlimited general contractor for the SBA’s 8(a) Construction Program greatly prepares our firm for providing clients with the most competitive pricing in our industry. Pyramid’s vast experience as a construction provider for competitive Design-Bid-Build projects is the foundation of our cost-effective capability that we pass on to our clients. Our estimators are well versed in RS Means, E-4Clicks, and Timberline estimating software systems. We manage and employ a thorough pricing process that has been used for each project to ensure competitive pricing and accuracy for our clients.
